The Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation was established by Morning Show Personality Johnny Burke from 96 WHNN to aid individual Mid - Michigan children and their specific needs.  Media personalities often encounter kids in need of support for expensive medical treatment or equipment, kids who have lost their parents, and so on.

The goal of the Johnny Burke Children’s Foundation is to help these kids by raising money throughout the year with a series of fun events….ensuring the availability of funds in times of need.

Over the years, the foundation has been able to hand out over $500,000 in grants and donations for children with life threatening diseases, drug addiction and other critical needs. The inaugural event that jump-started it all was the World’s Largest Garage Sale in 1997.
